Product Description
Di Ethyl Phthalate is a clear liquid which is most commonly utilized in cosmetics industry for binding of fragrances to formulated products. It has chemical formula C12H14O4 with molar mass of 222.24 g/mol and density of 1.12 g/cm3. This compound has low melting point of -4 degrees C and boiling point of 295 degrees Celsius with disagreeable odor. It is also known to play an important role in production of aerosol sprays and plasticizers. Though Di Ethyl Phthalate is denser than water, it shows good solubility of about 1080 mg/L at 25 degrees C.
